Municipal Solar Thermal Heat and Power
Rayner AAM has sourced technology for small scale generation of electricity from solar heat suitable for many applications in the sub 50kWe market. This includes residential and light industry applications for the on-premise generation of electricity with surplus heat used for hot water, space heating and cooling.
Affordable, commercially available solar thermal collectors that are currently used for hot water or process heat are a source of low temperature heat (100-250°C). However, the conversion of heat to mechanical energy to drive a standard AC alternator is the key enabling technology for this energy range. EcoChina will utilise such technology to provide adaptable performance for a wide range of applications.

Of particular interest is the ability to provide low cost community based heat and power for remote and rural communities.
This market sector is massive as it can potentially access the total world-wide domestic and distributed energy needs for electricity, hot water and space heating/cooling with virtually zero global warming effects.
